History

GOW was founded in 1968 by Gérald Gagnon. His passion for designing ornamental products evolved into production of equipment in high demand in the potato farming industry that today continues to drive the economy of northwestern New Brunswick.

In 2000, Gérald Gagnon sold the company to his son, Marco, and partners Jean-Maurice Gagnon and Gilles Desjardins. Pooling their expertise in management, engineering and the steelworks industry, the three new owners subsequently expanded production at the main site, which today covers 26,000 square feet.
